Eileen, founder of OBOL, inspired by her amazing pup Ginger, created a non-profit to help so many animals facing neglect, abuse, homelessness and more.
OBOL donates essential food and supplies to families facing homelessness and hardships, veterans, seniors, as well as shelters and rescue groups. Founded in 2008, they have now helped over 19,000 Homeless People, Veterans and Seniors with their beloved pet.
Pets can be such an important part to peoples lives and can enhance their well being. We care deeply for our community and this very much includes the loved pets. We are happy to support OBOL in their mission to Rescue the Rescuers by providing Animal Welfare and Emergency Relief.

Serving the homeless of Los Angeles since 1999, The Giving Spirit is a LA based organization providing aid to these individuals. By personally distributing kits covering hydration, hygiene, nutrition, utility and sun protection. With their programs to educate volunteers their humanitarian approach allows them to address the needs and issues of specific universes of poverty. Thier understanding of the different needs individuals facing homelessness have, they also created programs like Summer and Winter outreach in which volunteers are educated on the myths and realities of homelessness and how to assemble kits specific for each season. They also partner with LAUSD to provide school supplies and more to assemble backpacks for homeless students. If that wasn't enough, they also have kits assembled for women that contain feminine care and beauty products as well as New Mother Kits that include 25 infant items for expected mothers. We all know furry companions are important to us and just the same they are important to those facing homelessness. Don't worry, The Giving Spirit has got you covered with their Companion Animal Kits with food, leashes, grooming supplies and of course toys.
The Giving Spirit continues to work and educate on this crisis that has only gotten worse with the pandemic.
Without your desire to help those less fortunate than yourself, many lives-from homeless to the volunteers- would not have been touched by this act of grace. Please visit, Donate - The Giving Spirit for more information and ways to donate and get involved.

Self Help Graphics & Art is an organization that serves as a cultural arts center that encourages and promotes Chicana/o and Latina/o art in the Los Angeles community and further. In 1970, during the height of the Chicano Civil Rights movement,
while it is generally conceded that art is an intensely personal expression that holds no creative boundaries, some in the art world did not yet accept the concept of a unique Chicano art that would serve as an expression of cultural values. In this context, a plan had to be made that would remedy this situation; a plan that would not only serve the needs of aspiring Chicano artists, but that would also serve the greater East Los Angeles community. Self Help Graphics & Art spent long hours developing and planning ways through which in addition to exposing barrio children to a variety of artistic media, they could utilize art forms to instill within these children a positive sense of self, community, and culture.
